Family ranges

Les gammes familiales

Extremely convenient, they simplify the daily life of children and adults. Until now, they have been reserved for skin with an atopic tendency, but this winter they are developing in essential care products (hygiene, moisturizing), but also in micellar waters (which clean babies’ bottoms and remove make-up from mothers’ skin), solid shower shampoos or face and body moisturizers… On the program: skin minimalism, family pictograms (representing an adult, a child and/or a baby) and clean (and/or) certified organic formulas.

Some historical brands like Mixa, Dop or Cadum are dedicated to the family. Others have appeared more recently. This is the case of Mustela (if the brand signs “in the skin of parents” since 1950, its range of certified organic essential care for the whole family has just been launched) and dermo-cosmetic brands like La Roche-Posay, SVR, Avène or A-Derma. Others have just been launched (Peaudouce, Joone).
Be careful, in these family ranges, a distinction must be made between those that can be used from birth and those that are suitable for children (from the age of three). Each time this information appears clearly on the products.

Brands that can be used from birth

Expressing the highest safety standards, their effectiveness and tolerance have been proven under dermatological and pediatric control.
Both the cleansers and moisturizers can be used on the face and body.
Universal, these ranges are suitable for newborns (from 28 days for Avène) as well as for pregnant women and the whole family.
They are brands that can be found in pharmacies, which are often aimed at dry skin with an atopic tendency, but not only.
