Intensive Pro-Collagen+ Face and Neck Serum (30 ml, €85) and Intensive Pro-Collagen+ Face and Neck Cream (50 ml, €79, availability: March 2024) from Institut Esthederm help to stimulate the five types of collagen naturally present in the skin.
The brand has discovered that all collagens (and more specifically, collagens I, III, IV, VII and XVII) need to be stimulated to provide an overall response to sagging skin. This is what these two new skin care products do, thanks to biomimetic active ingredients such as xylose (a plant sugar which protects the skin’s architecture), or three peptides which act for the first time on the different layers of the skin (epidermis, dermo-epidermal junction, dermis).
This multi-level effectiveness helps to reinforce the volume of the dermis, boosting interactions and cohesion between the different tissue layers to restore long-term tension to the skin’s architecture and optimise its firmness.
