Following on from its reusable and washable eco-wipes, Mustela is launching compostable wipes (with or without fragrance), as part of its zero-waste approach.

As we all know, wipes are rarely environmentally friendly, but they are so practical that many parents can’t do without them.
Mustela launched its first disposable cleansing wipes in 1990 and has been developing them ever since, making them more natural (both in their formula and in the composition of the wipes).

By launching water-based cleansing wipes that can be composted at home (€4.50 for 60 wipes, with or without fragrance), Mustela is satisfying people who love wipes and want to respect the planet.
The brand is thus continuing its green revolution, before definitively phasing out single-use wipes in 2027 (we can trust it to find equally effective alternatives).

The compostable at-home cleansing wipes have a short, vegan formula made up of 99% naturally-sourced ingredients (six ingredients: water, Polyglyceryl-4 laurate/succinate to gently cleanse, upcycled avocado to help maintain skin hydration, citric acid to adjust pH, Sodium levulinate and Sodium benzoate to preserve).

At first glance, they don’t look any different from a conventional wipe, but when you look at their composition, there’s no comparison! They are made from Lyocell fibres of plant origin, derived from wood pulp from FSC and OK Compost Home certified forests (they must not be abandoned …
