Designed by London-based artist Katie Scott, these three new animal palettes (Medusa, Snake and Leopard) reveal the natural radiance of the complexion and underline Hourglass’ commitment to animal welfare.
The Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked Complexion Palette from Hourglass (€95, limited edition for the 2023 holiday season) brings together six complexion-enhancing shades for all 3 skin tones (Fair, Medium, Dark).
Each palette includes three new illuminating shades, a blush, a bronzing powder and a finishing powder. It’s enough to create a perfect complexion with the ideal luminosity, especially as the powders are formulated with photoluminescent technology that captures ambient light.
The result is that the powders filter artificial light and enhance the skin, whatever the type of light (including photo flashes). In all cases, the skin appears illuminated from within. The shades can be used individually or layered.
The snake, leopard and jellyfish cases celebrate the beauty of nature and demonstrate Hourglass’ commitment to animal welfare. Hourglass will donate 5% of the annual profits from this collection to the Nonhuman Rights Project, an American association working to protect the fundamental rights of animals.
A fourth limited edition design - the owl - will be available exclusively on the Hourglass website.
It will be possible to personalise the palette online, choosing both the shades and one of the four cases.
The palettes naturally feature vegan formulas, as do all Hourglass products.
