Always attentive to women’s needs, Nivea has adapted to their expectations by revisiting its legendary Laits Corps Essentiels and creating a new reference offering an immediate sensation of freshness. A total of four body care products have been reinvented in a cleaner version, both in terms of content and container.
Back to basics for Nivea, which has reworked the formulas of its Body Lotions.
More natural and free from controversial ingredients, they now combine hyaluronic acid, nourishing serum (a complex of nutrients) and oils of 100% natural origin.
They prevent dehydration and strengthen the skin barrier, providing superior hydration for 72 hours (Instrumental test, 42 participants).
The packaging is also more virtuous: 100% recyclable (excluding the pump), it now contains 20% less plastic (compared to current bottles) and 50% recycled plastic. This change will save 2,500 tonnes of virgin plastic by 2025, equivalent to 7% of Beiersdorf’s target for reducing the use of fossil-based virgin plastic for the year.
This will enable Nivea to reduce its C02 impact by around 5,000 tonnes by 2050 (exclusion-based approach under the GHG protocol, from production to factory gate).
Each skin type has its own essential body lotion and specific ingredient (in addition to the core formula): for dry to very dry skin, Lait Corps Nourrissant with sweet almond oil (250 ml, €4.50; 400 ml, €6.20; 625 ml, €8.99).
This non-greasy best-seller intensely nourishes the skin, leaving it softer, smoother and more radiant, and is now available in a family size (625 ml).
