The brand well known for its surgras cleansers (they date back to 1924!) cut out its first name in June. It also takes advantage of it to “clean” formulas and conditionings and to propose two certified organic references.
Cavaillès (which belongs to the pharma branch of the Bolton food group, which owns Saupiquet, Carolin, Somatoline, etc.) is revising its formulas (still enriched with surgras, but plant-based, and containing at least 83% ingredients of natural origin) and its packaging (recycled and recyclable packaging, and by the end of 2022 all references will be presented without secondary packaging).
Today, the Pro-Regenerating® Vegetable Surgras (a mixture of glycerin oil from sunflower oil and sweet almond oil), present in all the products, helps the epidermis to remain hydrated and protected from the drying effect caused by washing.
The brand has obviously not touched the iconic fragrance of its L’Original Bath & Shower Gel, now available in a one-liter size (€12.90 or 400 ml, €7.90).
A true olfactory madeleine, the fragrance blends lavender, eucalyptus and lemon, followed by an explosion of geranium and rosemary that blooms on a bed of moss and coumarin. A fresh and flowery trail, soft and enveloping like a care water.
