The calendars of the after!

Les calendriers de l’après !

This is the fun idea developed by a few people as the holidays approach. Generally speaking, Advent calendars, which are sometimes considered too “big” and not very ecological (as we know, small formats are not at all ecological), are getting lighter. We prefer the more realistic 7 or 12-day eco-designed versions. And there are even some for these gentlemen!

Let’s for new presents!

Sephora Collection was the first to come up with this great idea, developing an After-Calendar (€24.99) that runs for six days (from December 26 to 31) and contains 12 surprise gifts (two beauty products per bag) to hang on a decorative garland, all in cardboard sleeves from sustainably managed forests of course!

Another brand that prefers this format to be discovered just after Santa Claus has passed until the New Year: Yves Rocher and its New Year Calendar (€29.95, starting in November). Seven days, seven boxes, seven make-up products to create a festive look.
All in a pack made of recyclable cardboard from sustainably managed forests (the leitmotif this fall!).
The perfect gift to slip under the tree to wait for the New Year!

Post-holiday, it’s the choice of L’Occitane en Provence, who has come up with a seven-day calendar, 7 fairy tales (€49), in the form of a jewelry box (reusable, therefore) to make a fresh start in 2021 and get the year off to a good start.
Once opened, the drawers will be perfect to store rings, barrettes, socks…

Shorter formats of 12 days

This is the case of the NYX Cosmetics 12 Day Advent Calendar (€34.90) which brings together all the best-selling lip care products, or the Feel Natural Advent Calendar (€29.99) which offers 12 particularly welcome zero waste accessories (natural bamboo toothbrush, reusable cotton make-up remover squares, natural bamboo ecological ear cure, konjac sponges, natural bamboo kabuki make-up brush…).

Not forgetting these gentlemen with the Advent Calendar 12 Days of Grooming by Mr Porter (€115, actual value: 500 €, in November) which presents 12 life-size products for skin, body, hair and face, from ultra-select and cutting-edge brands.
