A new name, a new formula, a new design: the House’s iconic Rouge now breaks all the rules to become Le Rouge Interdit. At the end of August, it will be eco-formulated and refillable.
Givenchy’s new Rouge Interdit Intense Silk (€38.50, refill €29) offers a silky finish and luminous color.
Refillable and eco-designed (the base and sheath contain at least 30% recycled plastic and an FCS cardboard case), it’s also eco-formulated with sustainable ingredients, such as a smoothing mafane brede flower extract, which is respectfully harvested (only the floral part is picked to preserve the entire plant).
It also contains silk powder, hyaluronic acid, camelina oil, an oily extract of prickly pear, rice and sunflower waxes… All of this creates an ultra-sensorial, comfortable, semi-matte effect on the lips.
Finally, it comes in 25 powerful and distinctive shades. All we’re waiting for is a cactus “vegetable leather” sheath (an innovation exclusive to Givenchy’s Rose Perfecto Liquid Balm for the moment) to make sure it fills all the boxes!
