This micro-trend between skincare and make-up is taking hold and seducing a growing number of women who wear little (or no) make-up but still want a better version of themselves!

There are always the pinkish transparents that react to the pH level of the lips, revealing a colour tailored to each individual.
Among the newest are Kiko’s pH Glow Lipstick (€10.99) and Sisley’s latest Phyto-Lip Balm (€47, refill €38), which reinvents lip care.
First of all, it’s one of the very first to be refillable, so you’ll never throw away its pretty gold and white zebra case again! This moisturising and plumping balm provides an instant beautifying effect and a feeling of long-lasting comfort. Lips stay nourished all day long.
Its melting, highly sensorial texture is combined with a skincare formula (hyaluronic acid microspheres, padina pavonica extract, konjac glucomannan, shea butter, vitamin E acetate…) that coats the mouth with a fine, smoothing, shaping film for more beautiful lips.
Like all these new balms, it can be worn alone as a lip balm or as a lipstick base.

But the most original new products come in shades that may look frightening in their packaging (sky blue, pale pink tending towards grey) but evaporate once they’re applied to the lips, giving them a beautiful satin sheen.
