Whether they are generalist and family-oriented or very sophisticated (night serum), the spring hair ranges are making formulas with prebiotics and/or probiotics their battle horse.
After problem hair (dandruff, sensitive scalp…), this winter it’s time for “all terrain” hair lines formulated with probiotics.
Among the most universal, those of Phyto and Payot.
The first (bought by Native Laboratories, Phyto is in the process of renovation) creates a new plant-based softness routine for the whole family, which is suitable for all hair types, even if used frequently.
The products in contact with the scalp (Gentle Shampoo without sulfated surfactants, 250 ml, €11.50; Gentle Dry Shampoo with rice powder, 75 ml, €5.90, available in March) contain prebiotics to avoid upsetting the microbiota and to help maintain the balance of the scalp bacteria. It is the first dry shampoo that contains prebiotics. The brand has also replaced water with a plant extract of organic white mallow. This plant extract (sourced from France and grown in organic agriculture), known for its polysaccharide content, promotes softness and suppleness of the fiber and makes it shinier.
These new clean formulas (89% of ingredients of natural origin) and made in France come in recyclable bottles with a design reminiscent of the first apothecary bottles imagined by Monsieur Alès.
