Des collections "Holiday" inventives

Initiated by luxury brands (Chanel, Guerlain, Dior, Givenchy…), special holiday make-up collections (Christmas being a religious holiday, brands are trying to be more inclusive by naming them “Holiday”) are becoming widespread. The 2023 edition is particularly spectacular! Time to sparkle!

The first to declare the holiday season open are always Chanel and Givenchy.
In 2023, the Chanel make-up design studio pays tribute to the magnificence of the Roaring Twenties, dressing faces in a thousand lights for the festive season with two exclusive creations, one for the eyes: Lumière Graphique (platinum beige, bronze, shimmering black, rose gold, diamond white, €75), the other for the complexion: Duo Lumière, a pink champagne and crystal white powder with embossed sequins and illuminating pigments (€65).
Rouge Allure l’Extrait (€58) puts on a show with four highly desirable shades: Midnight Red (a hypnotic metallic red), Roaring Purple (an iridescent purple with a fiery glow), Beige Brut and Rouge Puissant.
As for nail polish, it comes in White Silk, a pinkish white, Tuxedo, a patinated gold and Sequins, a shimmering black (Le Vernis, €32).

Glitter also leads the way at Givenchy with the Nuit d’Hiver Festive Collection, which offers Le 9 de Givenchy 9.10 (€68), nine ultra-pigmented eyeshadows in a multitude of shades (intense copper, metallic orange, silvery pink, deep reds…) and a variety of finishes from matte to metallic, including pearlescent and satin effects.
