Colorless or tinted, they can be worn alone for a protective and beautifying no make up effect, or under your favorite mascara to amplify the effect. In both cases, they strengthen the lashes.
Colorless mascara bases…
The first mascara bases can be found at L’Oréal Paris (Lash Paradise Base-Soin de Mascara, €14.20) and Dior (DiorShow Maximizer 3D, €41). Like a “day cream for lashes”, they not only protect lashes from external aggressions, isolate them from mascara pigments, amplify the make-up result and boost its hold, but, thanks to their care action (they are enriched with castor oil, amino acids, provitamin B5…), they nourish, strengthen, coat and improve the appearance of lashes.
Transparent on the lashes, they can be used without mascara for their sublimating and conditioning effect, or under mascara to increase its performance.
There are several this spring, at Catrice (Super Prime Mascara Base, €6), or 1944 Paris (Base Cils L’Essentiel, €21). The latter, composed of a floral elixir that nourishes the lashes in depth and increases their length and density, can be used both as a mask or a base, to repair the lashes and guarantee a long-lasting effect to the mascara.
Huygens Lash & Brow Booster (€19) can also be applied under mascara as a protective barrier.
