The antiperspirant rebels!

To justify the maintenance of aluminium salts (although very controversial), cosmetics propose this spring new antiperspirants (for women as for men) with particularly innovative packaging and globally softer formulas, which take more care of the skin.

If most brands offer the alternative with or without aluminium salts, for many irreducible consumers (especially those who perspire a lot), nothing can replace the effectiveness of antiperspirants as the summer season approaches. To reassure them, innovative packs and formulas are multiplying to make them more attractive and"acceptable" in the consumer's mind. The care ingredients multiply, the care of the skin of the armpits and the sensitive skins intensifies, the"zero alcohol" becomes generalized. To reduce the presence of aluminium salts, the brands add an ecological valence, such as the compressed antiperspirants (with the small green band) launched by Unilever (Dove, Rexona and Monsavon for women; Rexona Men, Axe and Williams for men). More environmentally friendly, they are twice as small (and more convenient when travelling), guaranteeing as many uses with less packaging and 50% less gas.
