Body Guard belongs to Laboratoire Astélia, located in Manosque and founded in 2021 by Célia Nicolosi and Stéphanie Venier-Dargent, businesswomen in the perfume industry.
Their genius idea is to bring together two worlds that usually don’t work together: protection, in the medical sense of the term, and perfumery.
This is how they developed these fragrant mists with a non-sticky texture (unlike many mosquito repellents). They owe their eight-hour protection against all mosquitoes, as well as ticks, to the repellent molecule IR3535 (recommended by the WHO and health ministries in Brazil, the EU, Thailand, Ghana, etc.), which is biodegradable, non-toxic and respectful of both humans and the planet. This mysterious name hides a secret formula that the brand has patented.
