After the perfumed formulas of Revlon (Varnis à Ongles Parfumerie, 11.7 ml, 10.90 €, 12 colours) and Models Own with the sweet smell of peach (Vernis Peach Melba, 14 ml, 6.50 €), here are those of Guerlain and L'Oréal Paris.
Part of an irresistible collection reproducing the famous"inverted heart" of the perfume bottle La Petite Robe Noire, the Guerlain varnish comes in seven shades, including a base and a top coat (La Petite Robe Noire Le Vernis à Ongles Délicieusement Brillant, 8.8 ml, 23 €). When solvents evaporate on application, the varnish reveals a sweet and gourmand fragrance with accents of red fruits and petals, in line with the original accord of La Petite Robe Noire. And this scent, identifiable for 24 hours, is exhaled again thanks to a simple layer of top coat.
The same goes for Color Riche Le Vernis à l'Huile L'Oréal Paris (13.5 ml, 9.30 €, 24 shades), which alone combines all the codes of the season: a jewel bottle, the result in a single coat (thanks to a large, notched brush), a formula infused with micro-oils for shine and fresh rose fragrances that are felt as soon as the varnish is dry.
More and more stylish and beautiful to look at
Essie's new gel effect formulas are presented in luxurious twist-shaped bottles, inspired by the twirling dresses seen on catwalk shows (Gel Couture, 12.5 ml, 14.95 €, 33 shades, Top coat at the same price, starting in May at Sephora). Even the twisted rod brush is beautiful!
