Communiqué of the Afssaps : Following the occurrence of adverse reactions and as a precautionary measure, Pierre Fabre Dermo-cosmetic laboratories, in agreement with Afssaps, proceeded with the withdrawal of certain batches of the soothing make-up removering lotion KLORANE with sensitive blueberry-Pierre Fabre Dermo-cosmetic eyes.
4 December 2008 This decision follows the notification to the Afssaps, within the framework of Cosmetovigilance, of 4 cases of contact eczemas located in the eyelids following the use of this product. An allergological exploration was carried out in the 4 consumers concerned. It determined that these allergic reactions were caused by an impurity present in an ingredient in this lotion. In June 2008, the raw material was modified and the new formula available since the summer no longer contains it.
The Afssaps recommends that people with a bottle of this lotion affected by this withdrawal do not use it and return it to the point of sale. Pierre Fabre laboratories have set up a telephone number to answer consumers' questions: 0826 00 21 21 (0.15 € per minute).

- The capacities 25 ml (ACL 432 606.9), 100 ml (ACL 641 712.6), 200 ml (ACL 748 942.9) and 2 x 200 ml (ACL 773 697.4).
- The lots concerned F 80 (the lot number is printed on the bottle outside the bar code).
