Here are the cosmetic products that are subject to a recall or a marketing ban this week: an eyebrow dye that contains too much of a sensitising ingredient and a hair dye with defective packaging that may be dangerous.

Hair dye

In order to prepare the product, the user needs to mix and shake the dye. In the case of the two shades concerned, pressure can build up in the container due to the generation of peroxide. As a result, some of the product may squirt out when the bottle is opened and lead to eye injuries.
The product does not comply with the Cosmetic Products Regulation.
