Produit au rappel

You may have them in your cupboards. Maybe, you use them, still. Beware: they are dangerous, illegal, harmful… and are the subject of a recall or ban by the European sanitary authorities. Underneath, you may find all the cosmetic products targeted by the RAPEX alert system this week: a hair dye containing a too high percentage of PPD, and two hair gels containing forbidden preservatives.

Danger: The products present a chemical risk. The amount of the hair dye precursor p-phenylenediamine (PPD) is too high (measured value: 7.9% by weight) in relation to the coupler substances resorcinol and sodium perborate.
PPD can trigger allergic contact dermatitis.
The product does not comply with the Cosmetics Regulation.
