CoRAP 2024-2026: ECHA's proposal

CoRAP 2024-2026 : la proposition de l'ECHA

On 13 December 2023, ECHA (European Chemicals Agenncy) published its proposal for an updated Community Rolling Action Plan (CoRAP). This list includes 28 substances of concern, suspected of posing a risk to human health or the environment (endocrine disruptors, CMRs, PBTs, etc.) and to be assessed by Member States under the REACH Regulation in 2024, 2025, and 2026. Among them, eight can be used in cosmetics. The final plan will be adopted in March 2024.

This draft CoRAP contains 28 substances, including 11 new substances compared to the current CoRAP 2023-2025.
10 substances are being planned for evaluation in 2023, and 18 are divided for evaluation in 2025 and 2026.

The draft plan has been submitted on 30 November 2023 to the Member State Competent Authorities and the ECHA Member State Committee. The Committee is expected to give its opinion in February 2024. On the basis of the Committee’s opinion ECHA aims to adopt and publish the CoRAP update for 2024-2026 on 19 March 2024.
