Ukraine has just transmitted to WTO a draft technical regulation based on the European Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. There is no indication on when the text should enter into force.

The Draft Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approves the Draft Technical Regulation on cosmetic products. The Draft Technical Regulation establishes basic requirements for cosmetics products and is developed on the basis of the Regulation (EU) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009 on cosmetic products. The Draft Technical Regulation does not apply to medicines, medical devices and biocidal products.
