On 5 March 2012, the Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS) advising the European Commission, will be organizing a scientific hearing on the preliminary opinion on Fragrance Allergens in Cosmetic Products, recently approved for public consultation.
A public consultation on this SCCS opinion ran first until 17 February 2012, but has been extended to 29 February 2012.
The planned hearing aims to complement the internet consultation and to provide stakeholders and the public with an opportunity to present to the SCCS Working Group experts scientific evidence and argumentation on the subject of the opinion.
