Cosmetic 360 has great ambitions

The second edition of the Cosmetic 360 show organized by the Cosmetic Valley was held last October 13-14, 2016, at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. Its organizers aim to make this event as prestigious as its venue, claiming their ambition to make it a global reference and ensure France remains the world’s cosmetics leader. CosmeticOBS attended the press conference given by Marc-Antoine Jamet to open the show.

Cosmetic Valley President Marc-Antoine Jamet seemed pretty satisfied when he inaugurated the 2nd edition of the Cosmetic 360 show.
 50% more space compared to the 1st edition, more exhibitors, visits of the Minister of the Industry and Xavier Niel on the very first day… According to him, the show is in the right direction, which he explained in a few keywords.

Internationalization

With 30% of foreign delegations and the very strong presence of Asia, the Cosmetic Valley is even more willing to create a global partnership of clusters, the ‘Cosmetics Clusters International Network’, as formalized at the show.
‘We are not the largest market, and we are not the largest industry,’ Marc-Antoine Jamet explained. ‘So, if we want to remain the leader, we need to stay ahead of the game. And we can do it in two different ways: by working on themes like innovation, safety, consumer expectations, or adaptability, in which French companies are the best, but also by getting players organized, by federating them. We should not let others organize this cluster alliance on a different continent, with a different leadership.’
