Do cosmetics companies care about the well-being of their employees?

Les entreprises cosmétiques sont-elles attentives au bien-être de leurs salariés ?

As it does every year, the American company Seramount (which campaigns for inclusiveness in the world of work) has produced a ranking of the organisations with the best social policies for women and families in the broadest sense. Estée Lauders Companies, Johnson & Johnson, L’Oréal USA and Unilever are the only companies that can boast a place in Seramount’s 2024 ranking.

All the companies in this top ten have distinguished themselves by some of the actions they have taken to improve the day-to-day lives of their employees, such as:
• The introduction of 12 weeks’ (fully) paid parental leave
• The provision of 27 days’ paid leave
• The reimbursement of in vitro fertilisation protocols (for 93% of companies)

In addition, the majority of companies encourage their employees to volunteer or take training courses.
