The Supervisory Board of Beiersdorf AG has appointed the new President of the Nivea brand.Taking up the position in January 2022, Grita Loebsack’s main task will be to lead the brand’s global development.
After working for L’Oréal in several positions (International Marketing Director for skin care at L’Oréal Paris and General Manager of the Vichy brand), Grita Loebsack joined Unilever in 2021 as Executive Vice President in charge of the skin care category worldwide. She then headed Kering’s “Luxury, Couture and Leather Goods, Emerging Brands” division.
“Grita Loebsack will bring to our group her proven experience as a manager, her expertise in developing international brands and her knowledge of skincare. As head of our flagship brand Nivéa, she will be a valuable asset to the management team in the implementation of our sustainable strategy,” enthused Reinhard Pöllath, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Beiersdorf.
