Technicoflor : quand la parfumerie rencontre le Métaverse

The Metaverse is at our doorstep and the cosmetics industry is planning to take it over. The new collection of fragrances from Technicoflor (a French perfume house) inspired by the digital world is a good example.

“The Metaverse, digitally accessible thanks to a computer-generated environment, now makes it possible to buy virtual fashion pieces and accessories, to discover new environments or to attend product launches. These universes at the frontier of reality, which offer an enormous freedom of space, are especially popular with brands. Defined, according to them, as web 3.0, this new market offers visibility to generation Z (born between 1997 and 2010) who can fully live this experience both immersive and interactive,” explains the company.

There are eight creations imagined by eight of the group’s perfumers. Technicoflor describes them as follows.

• A.I. World (by Romain Keller): a perfume with character, with animal woody notes, faceted with red fruit notes. The illustration of a world ruled by the laws of digital where nature takes its revenge.

• Parallel Universe (by Bérengère Bourgarel) : a woody oriental note where the imagination of a parallel world is infinitely greedy.

• Call Of Beauty (by Marika Symard) : a new interpretation of beauty in a neo-world, characterized by a woody oriental DNA built around an iris embellished with sacred spices.

• Cyberhigh (by Irene Farmachidi): a trail anchored in the matrix by its codes of wood, cinnamon …
