TECHNICAL INTERN - COSMEBIO

Pioneer and European leader with more than 550 member companies, Cosmébio is the main French professional association of certified natural and organic cosmetics. Since 2002, Cosmébio has been working for the development of a demanding natural and organic cosmetics.

As an association, Cosmébio’s mission is to support its members. To do this, various actions are implemented such as a technical committee (about 15 members), small working groups (3 to 5 members) on specific topics (sulfates, endocrine disruptors etc.) but also webinars, meetings.

On the other hand, as a founding member of the specifications of natural and organic cosmetics “Cosmos”, the Cosmébio association has the mission to conduct a scientific watch. This monitoring focuses in particular on issues and innovations in terms of packaging and ingredients used for the formulation of natural and organic cosmetics. This watch is used to propose future evolutions of the specifications.

TECHNICAL ASSISTANT: To deepen the stakes of ingredients and packaging of natural and organic cosmetics from an environmental, sanitary and ethical point of view

Position

With the support of the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for

• manage the organization and progress of various internal Cosmébio work groups.

• to carry out research on the current strategic themes of the sector. You will produce technical files containing the information collected. These files will allow you to present the technical advances to the association’s member professionals.

To carry out this mission, you will :

• Be trained on the specifications of natural and organic cosmetics Cosmos
  
• Participate in discussions on strategic themes during the Cosmébio technical commission
  
• Attend certain training courses offered by Cosmébio
  
• Be in contact with partner organizations: Cluster bio, Cosmed, Biopartenaire, etc.

You will also take part in other specific missions depending on the association’s current events (e.g. help with the organization of events).

This apprenticeship contract will allow you to discover the different departments of an association as well as many companies while integrating a young and dynamic team!

Profile required

Scientific training (Bac+4 to Bac+5).

Good writing skills.

Good level of English, written and oral.

Sensitivity to organic and sustainable development issues.

Knowledge of the cosmetics sector is a plus.

Apprenticeship contract for a period of 1 year.
