The Cosmetic 360 tradeshow, organized by the Cosmetic Valley and dedicated to cosmetic innovation, is one of the industry’s key events. Due to the pandemic, the 2020 edition was replaced by a digital version. The physical show is back at the Carrousel du Louvre, on October 13 and 14. The opportunity for CosmeticOBS to talk with Soline Godet, Deputy General Manager of Cosmetic Valley’s Enterprises and Territories and Franckie Béchereau, Deputy General Manager of Cosmetic Valley’s Europe and International Division, and to review the new version of the event.
CosmeticOBS: Cosmetic 360 is one of the first major events in the industry to open the ball in this post-Covid period. How did you imagine it?
Franckie Béchereau: This year, the formula is new because it concentrates two events in one: the show and the summit of the perfume and cosmetics industry. We decided to convene the decision-makers of the industry in one place.
Soline Godet: As you know, we organized in October 2020 the “États Généraux de la filière parfumerie-cosmétique”. This day of conferences was designed to bring together companies from the cosmetics sector and provide them with concrete solutions to the issues they face in this very special period. The summit we are proposing this year follows the same reasoning. We must continue to increase the collective dynamics of the industry, to help companies progress, to alert them to fundamental issues and give them the keys to move forward.
CosmeticOBS: What topics will be discussed at the summit?
SG: Last year, we announced 30 measures to help revive the sector. This day will be an opportunity to take stock of what has been put in place by the industry’s players. During the day, strong themes …
