The European Cosmetics Regulation

The last consolidated version was dated 1 March 2022.
This new version integrates the new provisions established by:
Regulation 2022/135: concentration limits and new conditions of use for Methyl-n-methylanthranilate
Regulation 2022/1176: new restrictions for Benzophenone-3 and Octocrylene
Regulation 2022/1181: new labelling rules for products containing formaldehyde releasers

The UK Cosmetics Regulations

The same concern to update the UK authorities. Since the Brexit, the UK has its own Cosmetics Regulation. If, at the beginning, it was an exact copy and paste of the European text, it has since gradually moved away from it, since it no longer follows the European modifications within the same timeframe, and it does not prohibit itself from taking other provisions than those provided for by the Union. Differences have therefore arisen, particularly in the annexes, which define the conditions of use of the ingredients.
