Care Beyond Skin (CBS)… this is the name of the volunteer program that the German group has set up in 2023. The goal? To promote Beiersdorf’s social and ecological commitment to strengthen an inclusive society and sustainably improve environmental protection.
From May to July 2023, all Beiersdorf employees worldwide have the opportunity to dedicate one working day to support various social and environmental projects run by local charities.
“More than 700 Beiersdorf employees in 12 countries have already set a good example in the first weeks of the initiative. In Peru and Chile, for example, they worked with an organization that helps children in need and renovated playgrounds and sports facilities, painted walls, and cleaned and restored facilities owned by the organization,” says Vincent Warnery, CEO of Beiersdorf. “We recognize our responsibility to drive positive change and are fully committed to making our sustainability ambitions a reality.”
In total, more than 20,000 employees are involved in the CBS.
The group’s ambition is to make this opportunity possible once a year.
