FIFI Awards 2013: the prize list

Issued for the first time 21 years ago by the Fragrance Foundation France to recognize the perfumes launched every year on the French market, the FIFI Awards are a moment to emphasize the inventiveness and the innovation of a sector that weigh € 1.9 billion in France. On April 11, the 2013 crop has been released, with nine perfumes and a brand that share 14 awards.

All the perfumes, for men and women, placed on the market in 2012, have been evaluated by two juries of professionals, members of the Fragrance Foundation or experts (evaluators, journalists and bloggers). The public at large was also requested for its opinion, and massively voted through the Internet.

Among the 14 prizes for the inventiveness and innovation throughout the perfume world, four went to la Petite Robe Noire, by Guerlain, in selective networks, and two were for Spicebomb, by Viktor&Rolf, in this same king of network. At the end of the party, the audience, comprising professionals and media dedicated to perfume, made live votes to award the Prix du Parfum Mythique (Prize of the Mythical Perfume), chosen among the brands launched at least 20 years before, and still in the Top 30 of the best sales in France.

Place of honour for the women’s perfumes

As for the Le Parfum d’Elie Saab (BPI) in 2012, La Petite Robe Noire by Guerlain (LVMH) swept the awards this year in its category.
