Greez: the solution to cosmetic waste

Greez : la solution au gaspillage cosmétique

In the same way that the Too Good To Go app enables consumers to buy food that was supposed to end up in the garbage can, Greez offers the general public the chance to “save” cosmetics destined for the scrap heap.

At a time when cosmetics brands are obliged to donate or recycle their unsold products, Greez aims to establish itself as a player in the fight against beauty waste. The platform revalorizes all cosmetics (perfume, skincare, make-up) that are destined to be destroyed for various reasons: slight cosmetic defect, overstock, old collection. “They are offered to as many people as possible for a limited time, at unbeatable prices (up to 80% off).”

Sales aren’t the only way to recycle beauty products. The company works with charitable associations to set up donation campaigns.

The structure founded by Noémie Arnal and Logan Favier (two former professionals in the cosmetics industry) is still in its infancy, but can boast of having already succeeded in “saving” 3,000 skincare products.

For the time being, Greez is available on the Internet, with a mobile application due to arrive in the coming months.
