Awarded on January 22 by Fleur Pellerin, the French Minister in command of SMEs, innovation and digital economy, the INPI Trophies (INPI comes for The National Institute of Industrial Property) reward every year the strategies of industrial property of French SMEs and laboratories. Two companies from the cosmetic world are among the 2012 winners.
The Design Trophy is awarded to Capsum, specialized in the development and manufacturing of innovative materials for cosmetics (capsules, pearls) in the encapsulation and pleasure to the senses (texture, galenic, visual aspect). Launched in 2008, the company owns now 17 patents and six brands.
“The force of Capsum is based upon the design of technological platforms linking an innovative product (for instance, micrometric capsules, or pearls for mixtures), a proprietary manufacturing process and specific equipment. We want to be very active and exhaustive as soon as we talk about industrial property,” Sébastien Bardon, its CEO, said.
Lea Nature has been awarded by the Brand Trophy. A designer and manufacturer, since 1993, of organic products in the health, dietetics, cosmetic and food fields, the company owns five patents, and no less than 550 brands.
