The Solabia Group is strengthening its position in the cosmetics and healthcare markets with the acquisition of PolymerExpert, which will open up new development opportunities in high-potential markets.
Founded in 2000 by Marc Dolatkhani and based in Pessac (Gironde), PolymerExpert is a company specialising in the development and marketing of high-tech polymers. It offers a range of products designed in particular for the cosmetics market (with high-performance polymers of natural origin for applications such as skin care, sun protection and make-up).
Marc Dolatkhani, the founder of PolymerExpert, will retain a minority stake in the company and will remain its Chairman.
Solabia, for its part, has an extensive catalogue of natural active and functional ingredients.
This acquisition illustrates the Group’s strategy of strengthening its activities in the cosmetics market by enabling it to expand its range of high added-value ingredients.
