"Mission Beauté": a day of committed conferences

"Mission Beauté" : une journée de conférences engagées

The Journée de la Beauté has been an annual event organized by the CEW France for five years. It is an opportunity for all the manufacturers of the cosmetics industry to meet. For the 2021 edition of the event, the theme chosen is “Mission Beauty”. This day of conferences, led by Laurence Dorlhac, will take place on September 22, 2021, at the Salons Hoche in Paris.

“The climate emergency, the health crisis and the latest major social movements have reshuffled the cards, radicalized demands and strengthened hopes that companies will contribute positively to the common good. It is no longer just a matter of saying that we want to work for a cleaner, more sustainable cosmetics, in line with new aspirations, we have to prove it with concrete actions that have a real impact on the planet and society,” explains the CEW France.

This day will be articulated around four distinct themes.

The new company/society contract
Under pressure from external and internal audiences, CSR is now at the heart of corporate strategies. What are the new business models to meet these expectations? How to engage in an in-depth transformation?

Environmental missions
Impact on the climate, greenhouse gases/carbon footprint, respect for biodiversity, reduction of water, air and soil pollution, scarcity of resources… How can beauty companies reinvent themselves to integrate these vital issues? What tools can be used to meet these challenges and prove their impact?

Societal missions
Diversity, inclusiveness, new feminism, fight against racism, major movements, new missions for beauty. How can we integrate these new values into the heart of the company with accuracy and …
