Beautylitic, the BtoB SaaS platform for cosmetics analysis and data analytics, is launching Clear Formula, a service specifically designed for e-commerce sites and brands to enable them to provide their customers with clear and educational information on the composition of products thanks to a unique technology : all the INCI lists on a website become intelligent and informative, automatically and dynamically.

Beautylitic is the first SaaS BtoB platform for data analysis of the composition of beauty and hygiene products for retailers, e-commerce, manufacturers, brands, and investment funds to meet the major consumer and CSR challenges.

To develop this new service, Beautylitic started from the premise that yhe crisis of confidence and mistrust that has been affecting the beauty industry for several years originates from the opacity that surrounds the composition of beauty and hygiene products.
“If all online retailers are legally obliged to provide their customers with the list of ingredients for each product in Europe, this list remains totally incomprehensible to the consumer,” explains Candice Colin, CEO of Beautylitic. “Yet, understanding what we consume is the very basis of trust. It therefore seemed urgent to us to allow e-commerce sites and brands to be more proactive in this area because trust and reassurance are indeed one of the drivers of growth.”

How does it work?

Thanks to a simple API connection - which enables to link e-commerce sites to Beautylitic’s technology - each ingredient of each product’s INCI list is directly deciphered on the concerned site.
