Foresight has always been a very difficult exercise. Psychics or mediums of all kinds or experts were very wrong in the interpretation that one could make of the future. The only proof of this is the reissue of a very beautiful series of postcards made at the beginning of the yearhe 1900s by the French painter Jean-Marc Côté associated with other artists to imagine how one would live in France a century later.
Printed to be presented at the Universal Exhibition in Paris, these postcards were recently taken up by WeDemain.fr . They are surprising, sometimes eccentric, sometimes premonitory. In particular, it shows an interpretation of the 3rd millennium bathroom. I let you discover it if you haven't already, and eventually analyze it.
Although very approximately, we can still recognize some elements that become familiar: no or few pots of cream, magic mirrors, light,"beauty devices" and face and body devices!
All this brings us back to those famous beauty objects that we talk about so much. We had the opportunity to discuss their importance or that of alternative routines several times.
