FlorIndex is a tool that measures the environmental impact of fragrances at almost every stage of their development cycle. From the sourcing of raw materials to the end of the perfume’s life, including production and transport, it scrutinises 38 indicators to assess eight criteria, including

• The energy required for production
• The impact of transport
• The biodegradability of the formula
• The measurement of its toxicity on the environment and health
In the form of an eco-score, it gives the perfume a grade from A to E, which provides all the data needed to understand it.
