“A new trend has emerged on TikTok, highlighting the power of make-up to influence self-image. This trend follows in the footsteps of ‘nail theory’ and ‘hair theory’, which assert that the way your hair is styled or the color of your nails can completely change your appearance and how you are perceived by others,” explains the firm.
Internet users like to reproduce natural, gothic, busy or grunge looks to reveal themselves in a different way.
