This varnish has now a composition “12 free”, with 85% of ingredients of natural origin minimum (to guarantee holding and shine the 100% natural is not yet possible).
Its vegan formula contains biosourced ingredients, in particular the solvents (usually of petrochemical origin) which come from renewable agricultural resources (sugar cane, rice, beet). They are essential to give the desired fluidity to the nail polish and act on the drying time, by evaporating once the nail polish is applied to the nails.
Nitrocellulose is obtained from wood pulp. This resin forms a hard protective film during drying and increases the durability of the varnish. It is the main reason why Mavala nail polishes are air and water vapor permeable, allowing the nail to breathe since 1962!
Triethyl Citrate, produced from corn and beet, is a plasticizer that adds texture, shine and flexibility to nail polish. And the crushed clay guarantees its good spreading and its homogeneity.
