Pour un Homme de Caron se réinvente

Two new creations, one for the morning, the other for the evening, revisit this legend of men’s fragrance, created in 1934 by Ernest Daltroff, the founder of the House of Caron. Brilliantly embodied and modernized by French actor Tahar Rahim, a perfect Father’s Day gift!

What do James Dean, Serge Gainsbourg, Christian Louboutin and Hedi Slimane have in common? They all wear (or have worn) Pour Un Homme by Caron.
The stroke of genius of its author, Ernest Daltroff? To combine the freshness of lavender with the smooth roundness of vanilla. An elegant alchemy, full of contrasts, that has become emblematic. And even if its charm has never faded (the original perfume is of course still sold, eau de toilette 125 ml, 87 €), it needed to be “woken up” a little, which is what Jean Jacques, the current perfumer of the House, did.

He took up the challenge by respecting the original spirit, but infusing it with his creative audacity and innovative spirit.
A reinvention in the form of a tribute, as Jean Jacques is a passionate admirer of Ernest Daltroff. Lavender is the heart of the two new creations (the brand has signed a partnership with Jérôme Boenle, a lavender producer in Provence): Pour Un Homme de Caron Le Matin (invigorating eau de toilette 125 ml, €96 or 200 ml, €138) and Pour Un Homme de Caron Le Soir (intense eau de parfum 75 ml, €83 or 125 ml, €110).
