Aline Foulet, founder of Akane, has always believed that “skincare is the makeup of tomorrow.” In search of innovation, she decided to revisit skin icing. Inspired by cryotherapy, this new beauty trend consists of passing an ice cube over one’s face to stimulate blood circulation, and chase away fatigue and dark circles. But the ice cube is not always very practical or comfortable.
Akane has just designed an Ice Therapy Kit. It allows you to easily create an ergonomic ice cube that perfectly fits all areas of the face, including the eye contour.
The kit consists of two parts: a certified organic care lotion (based on rose floral water, apple extract and lactic acid) supplied with a funnel and a sorbet stick.
Simply fill the stick (half lotion and half water) and place it in the freezer for eight hours.
In the morning, we pass the ice cube a few seconds under water, before “walking” on his face (by making circular massages).
