1. Before you start
Make sure your skin is clean and dry, without any cuts, redness or scratches. Also consult the precautions below and above (safety first!). Make sure you use the right cream for the right area of the body - depilatory cream for the face should only be used on the face, and depilatory cream for the body should only be used on the body.
2. Come on, let’s get to work
Spread a thin layer of cream on the area where your hair is no longer welcome. Make sure the layer is thick enough to completely cover the hair. You can do a lot of things at once: don’t hesitate to run off in the shower once you’ve applied the cream (you can also remove it in the shower for easy cleaning).
Leave the cream on for 3 to 7 minutes maximum.
Although it can be tempting, don’t exceed the maximum time for either the face or the body! It’s time to set your time as if you were umpiring the 100m at the Olympics.
3. The great revelation!
Once your trusty stopwatch has rung, it’s time to say goodbye to the cream and the collateral victims (aka: ciao your hair!) at the same time. Take your spatula and gently scrape the cream onto a small test plate to make sure that the hairs come off easily. If your hairs are not quite ready to leave you yet, leave the cream on the skin for a few more minutes. Just don’t exceed the maximum 7-minute application time. (Again! No need to overdo it - don’t exceed the maximum time!).
When you are on the end, use the spatula to remove all the cream from your skin. Rinse your skin, hands and spatula thoroughly.
That’s it, it’s good for you! Now all you have to do is go back to living your life.
