Deodorant or antiperspirant?

Déodorant ou antitranspirant ?

Deodorant or antiperspirant, it’s not the same thing! They are even two very different products, both in their compositions and in their modes of action, even if both are used for the same purpose: to fight against bad smells due to perspiration.

Anatomical reminder: it is not sweat that smells bad, it is the enzymatic action of the bacteria in the skin on contact with it that causes the formation of malodorous volatile compounds in the armpits.
In any case, it is a fact that the result is not necessarily the most engaging, and that we need the help of cosmetics to stay fresh and clean all day long.
Two main solutions (and two different means of action) are available to our underarms.

First solution: Antiperspirants

They work by blocking the sweating process. In other words, they prevent us from sweating by forming a blockage at the entrance to the sweat gland canal and hindering their functioning.

First disadvantage
They thus oppose a natural elimination function of the body. However, if we sweat, it is not by chance, but rather, in addition to a thermoregulatory function, to remove toxins and organic waste that are much better outside our body than blocked inside.

Second disadvantage
