In the cosmetics industry, harnessing artificial intelligence has already become a key element in optimising the customer experience and stimulating e-commerce growth. And now R&D and production are getting to grips with it.
Indeed, AI holds a wealth of potential. Its algorithms can be used to predict the evolution of a wide range of phenomena (buying behaviour, molecule activity, production breakdowns on an industrial production line, etc.), to speed up innovation and the development of new formulas, and to open up new opportunities for personalising the product offering.

The use of AI as a predictive tool for interactions between different components, reducing the time and cost of laboratory tests, therefore presents both a challenge and an opportunity in a cosmetics industry where formulations often combine numerous active ingredients.
