Bpifrance and ADEME launch the "Diag Ecodesign"

Bpifrance et l’ADEME lancent le "Diag Écoconception"

Bpifrance and ADEME are reinforcing their offer of support to companies in their environmental transformation. The new “Diag Ecodesign” should enable several hundred companies per year to improve the environmental performance of their products and services by implementing an ecodesign approach thanks to a subsidised rate of 60 or 70% depending on the size of the company.

This new Diagnostic completes the offer of support and advice in favour of the energy and ecological transition of companies set up by Bpifrance and ADEME, after the “Diag Eco-Flux” and “Diag Décarbon’Action” launched since 2020. This new scheme is based on an eco-design approach which aims to take into account the environmental aspects of the design and development process of products, services and processes, with the aim of reducing negative environmental impacts throughout their life cycle.

This scheme, managed by Bpifrance and co-financed by ADEME, is aimed at SMEs wishing to improve the environmental performance of their products, services or processes by means of an environmental assessment or, where applicable, by applying for the European Ecolabel. It also enables companies to:
• Train their teams in ecodesign
• Integrate the eco-design approach into their strategy by implementing it in a concrete and sustainable way in their organisation

In concrete terms, companies will be supported by a consultancy firm specialising in Life Cycle Assessment and referenced by Bpifrance. This process, which will last from six to eight months, will allow:
• To analyse the company’s context and define the scope and challenges
