We talk about it more and more, and in many fields, but what are the connected objects? A connected object is an electronic device that can communicate with a smartphone, tablet and/or computer. Communicate in the sense that it can send and receive information, this via a wireless link, Bluetooth or Wifi. The main interest is interactivity, the possibility to retrieve information, or to send statistics, to keep in touch, etc. What cosmetic applications?

The connected objects are not strictly speaking a novelty. We remember the famous rabbit Nabaztag who had his hour of glory a few years ago. But the advent of smartphones and other tablets, which are now part of our daily lives, has given a tremendous boost to manufacturers' creativity and opened up the field of applications. The invention of the smartphone is probably one of the greatest technological advances of the last decade, completing with its arrival a new stage in the evolution of human society, which then became what experts call an"information society". "Internet" and"Smartphone" now belong to the same lexical field, going so far as to consider that the words"smart" and"connected to the Internet" are part of the same semantic field.

Thus, it is normal to wonder what other objects of daily life could also become"intelligent" in their turn in the years to come. The average individual will be able to answer it, since the solution is in the question itself, that is to say almost any object of everyday life.
