Opinion - Sunscreens: who does mislead whom?

Following the release, by 60 Millions de Consommateurs journal, of an article that questions the accuracy of the SPFs displayed on sunscreens, the French Cosmed association, through its President, Jean-Marc Giroux, sent us its answer. This argument, already opened last year at this same moment, bounces back, with the same actors, and the same points. CosmeticOBS-L’Observatoire des Cosmétiques releases this opinion, hoping that the standard (in progress) on the in-vitro SPF measuring be quickly published, putting an end to the debate.

From now on, every year, at this same moment of the year, there is a kind of “solar bashing” in some general public media.
