ECHA (European Chemicals Agency) has just announced that it has received four intentions and proposals for harmonised classification and labelling (CLH) for substances that can be used in cosmetics: Silica, Dimethyl Imidazolidinone, Potassium Bromide, and Talc. If the classification process is completed, some of these substances could have their authorisation for use in cosmetic products questioned.
