Question - MAF
What do you know about progress in the use of MAFs? And whether the MoS will be higher than 1,000, which would make it difficult to validate the use of ingredients?

The MAF (Mixture Assessment Factor) is one of the issues still under discussion as part of the revision of the Cosmetics Regulation. Clearly, a MAF of 1,000 is untenable, as there would be no more cosmetics. What would this factor be? There have been discussions about 5, 10, 50, 100… but today, no one is saying. It won’t be 1,000, that’s for sure.
