The luxury sector had mixed results in 2014: slowdown in China, tensions in Russia, disenchantment of traditional customers… So what will be the target markets for 2015 and the following years? Who will be the consumers? What will be the trends? These were the aspects discussed at the 5th edition of the Journée Internationale du Luxe (International Luxury Day) held by Ubifrance and Luxurynsight last November 25, 2014, in Paris. Here is a summary.
Since it was created in 2009, the Journée Internationale du Luxe has become an essential event for numerous sectors, including perfumes and cosmetics. This new session gathered both experts and professionals of the luxury world in Paris, at Ubifrance, the French Agency for the international development of companies, in partnership with Luxurynsight, a business intelligence agency dedicated to the luxury industry.
